How to Use Butterfly Swaddle

Butterfly Swaddle is a two-piece system: sleep sack and a versatile wrap. The wrap uses magically soft and whisper quiet closure system.

0 to 2 weeks

Use the outer wrap alone or over the sleep sack.

Ensure the wrap is snug, sitting 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.5 cm) below baby's chin.

2 to 6 weeks

Wrap baby inside sleep sack.

Once zipped, gently pull the gown downward to avoid bunching near the face.

6 to 8 weeks

Begin one-arm-out swaddle training.

Place one arm through the sleep sack sleeve for a gradual transition.

8 to 10 weeks

  • Use the outer wrap only
  • Position outer wrap below baby's arms and just above the mesh wings

10 to 12 weeks

You have reached the final stage of the swaddle journey!

No wrap, just the sleep sack only.
